I've received a few comments recently on several different blog posts from "A friend out west" or "Some friend out west." It's not entirely implausible that this is someone I know, since I grew up in California and Oregon. So here's my question:

Okay, fine. We met in Greenfield, CA.
We also once were involved in a competition during the which you called me a nazi due to my propensity for amassing pinto beans. (No beans for you!) =)
